Position Overview:
The Mason Counseling Group seeks an experienced Director of Human Resources to join our dynamic team. As the Director of HR, you will oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, collection of required information, following up on the submission of said information, training, employee discipline, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, Human Service office management and a passion for supporting a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire human resources function, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Develop policies and procedures to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment and hiring process, including interviewing and onboarding new employees.
- Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs and workshops.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on matters such as benefits, payroll, and company policies.
- Conducts performance evaluations and develops strategies for employee growth and development.
- Manage employee relations, including addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Coordinate and manage vendor management, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, including ordering and inventory management.
- Utilize payroll and other financial functions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including employee files, attendance records, and performance evaluations.
- Supervise and manage a team of HR clerks, ensuring they are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in human resources, preferably in a Social or Human Services office management environment.
- Strong knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and laws.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience in recruitment and hiring, including interviewing and onboarding new employees.
- Experience with vendor management and office management.
- Proficiency in various HR software systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, with a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
