Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and communicative Escrow Processor/Closer to join our team. As Processor/Closer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth coordination real estate transactions through thorough effective timeline management, problem solving, and contract comprehension. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties:
- Communicating with attorneys, lenders, agents, and all parties in a real estate transaction for a transfer of clear title
- Clearing title objections from attorney’s opinions / title insurance and order mortgage payoffs
- Coordinating with attorneys and lenders to complete financial figures for closing statements for buyers and sellers
- Meeting with customers to present papers for signatures
- Disbursing payments to vendors and other involved parties promptly following closing
- Ensuring proper and timely County Recording
- Organizing physical, digital, and email correspondence for each transaction
- Researching, confirming, and inputting closing information into our software system
- Managing closed files to ensure releases are filed, clean title work is received, and the appropriate parties receive original documentation back in a timely manor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification is a plus
- Proven experience in project management, banking, or real estate role preferred
- Proficient in Computer Software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to schedule and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while understanding the necessity for communication and coordinating work efforts with others
- Professional and personable attitude (Office dress code is business casual attire)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of basic real estate transaction procedures
