First Steps Learning Academy is seeking a loving, dependable, and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our team! We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with infants and understands the importance of providing a safe, loving, and stimulating environment during their earliest stages of development.
Position: Infant Teacher
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Lunch: 1-hour lunch break
Starting Pay: $10.00/hour
Pay increases: Based on education and/or childcare credentials. Proof of education/credentials is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to infants
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Follow individual feeding, diapering, sleeping, and care routines
- Change diapers and maintain proper hygiene
- Prepare and provide bottles/food according to classroom procedures
- Comfort and soothe infants when needed
- Engage infants in age-appropriate activities that encourage development
- Communicate appropriately with parents regarding their child's day
- Maintain accurate classroom records and daily reports
- Follow all center policies and childcare regulations
- Work cooperatively with other teachers and administration
- Help maintain a positive, loving classroom environment

Education & Experience
Previous childcare or infant-care experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Education and/or credentials may qualify you for increased starting pay. Proof of credentials/education will be required.
