Job Title: Purchasing and Planning Assistant
Report To: Purchasing and Planning Manager
Job Site: Overland Park, KS – Onsite Position (Not a Remote Role)
Job Details: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
Job Overview:
Join our team as a Purchasing and Planning Assistant, where your passion for exceptional service and attention to detail will play a key part in your success. As a member of the purchasing team, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that are crucial to keeping our business running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our product line.
- Working with our design team and factories to submit purchase orders and ensure timely delivery
- Managing inventory levels for our online store and two brick and mortar store locations, entering replenishment orders when necessary
- Create and update spreadsheets to track purchasing, inventory, and sales data, suggesting when to place re-orders
- New style set-ups within our ERP system and inventory reports
- Maintain superior level of accuracy while doing tasks, particularly involving order management
- As workload demands, working over 40 hours a week as needed.
- Foster a collaborative environment by actively participating in team meetings and sharing insights for continuous improvement
- Demonstrate a positive and empathetic attitude while addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to share customer feedback and contribute to the enhancement of products and services
- Updating and creating SOP’s and processes for job duties
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
·Associate/bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising, business, or related field
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· A desire to learn and grow within our organization
· Ability to adapt to change
· Strong working knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation) for tracking and reporting
· Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
· Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
· Proficient with data entry and attention to detail
· Adaptability to embrace change and contribute to a collaborative work culture
· Working knowledge of computers to successfully use Company ERP, Microsoft Windows, and Office
· Ability to work overtime as needed.
· Assist in other departments as needed during busy seasons.
· Perform all other duties as assigned.
· Ability to commute to office location daily.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
