Our company is looking for temporary help to clean University of South Alabama apartments for incoming students.
While this work opens up opportunities for regular employment with us, we do welcome college students that want summer work. The project will last for 2-3 weeks starting around July 26 and wrapping up by August 14-16th. This is our 11th year working on this type of project.
Work starts between 7:30 and 8:30 am and generally finishes around 4 pm each day. Some late afternoon and evenings may be necessary so availability until 5 or 6 pm is welcomed. There will also be a need for some people to work Saturdays. Pay is $14 hourly and paychecks will be issued on Friday afternoons. Hours for the work week will be paid from previous Friday-Thursday. 1099's will be issued in 2027, as required for all contract labor
Everyone will work with 1 or 2 other team members at each
apartment unit. Each team will clean 3-5 units per day. We are cleaning 3 separate apartment complexes, so likely you
will be placed at one location for the duration of the project.
However, that may change depending on the work load of each complex. All supplies and equipment will be provided. Each person will need to be efficient in their use of time as this is a fast paced work environment. The person must be
able to follow direction from management and other MCS
employees. Prior cleaning experience is not a requirement but is certainly helpful. You must have a working phone for communication and transportation to the job site each day.
