Construction Laborer — Property Maintenance & Repair (Job Listing Overview) Role Summary
We’re seeking a reliable Construction Laborer to support ongoing property maintenance and repairs across residential and light commercial sites. The ideal candidate will perform hands-on construction tasks, assist with repairs and installations (interior and exterior), and help maintain clean, safe job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction work, repairs, and installations
- Install drywall and perform related finishing/support tasks
- Install and/or assist with flooring installation (e.g., subfloor prep, laying materials as needed)
- Support roof repairs and exterior maintenance tasks (as assigned)
- Perform door repairs and installation-related support
- Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks
- Complete basic masonry tasks and assist with masonry-related repairs
- Trim and maintain trees and shrubs; assist with yard clean-up
- Apply herbicides and pesticides
- Maintain job-site cleanliness and assist with materials handling and staging
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site rules at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic familiarity with construction tools, job-site safety practices, and common maintenance procedures
- Willingness to learn and support tasks across multiple trades (drywall, flooring, exterior repairs, landscaping, etc.)
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to take direction
- Comfortable working on ladders/scaffolding as required (training provided or experience preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, property maintenance, or general labor
- Demonstrated experience with drywall, flooring, roof/exterior repairs, landscaping, masonry, or similar work
- Possession of any required pesticide/herbicide application certification(s) (if applicable to your jurisdiction)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to transport tools/materials (if needed for the role)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry building materials and tools (typical range: 40–75 lbs, depending on task)
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and work overhead for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders and work in outdoor/uneven terrain
Pay: $200.00 per day
