American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and 2 years of travel nursing experience.

Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit

Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
-
13-week assignment length
-
Active RN license issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN license (eNLC)

BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required
-
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate required
-
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor certification required

Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred

Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required

Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience required

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer skills required

Provide nursing care to L&D patients, including assessment, medication administration, and IV/blood product management

Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures

Document patient responses to treatments and communicate care plans with patients and families

Delegate tasks to support staff as needed

Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines; onboarding must begin promptly after booking

Returning travelers may extend contracts only once up to a total of 26 weeks, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying
