Hiring all staff to join our award-winning Golf and Country Club. Newly Renovated, St. George’s Golf and Country Club in East Setauket was founded in 1917. Right across the street from Stony Brook University. We offer an amazing, staff focused work environment for all levels of experience. We have multiple jobs to fill before we open up for our best season yet. Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a positive dining experience
Guest service mentality; a genuine desire to serve the customer
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working in both indoor and occasional outdoor environments
Prior experience recommended, but not required.
Ability to work in a team.
Responsibilities
Greet, seat and present menus to customers in a friendly and timely manner
Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
Deliver food and beverages to tables in a prompt and professional manner
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns
Handle billing using a Jonas POS system
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area and workstations
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (or more depending upon your experience)
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
