Job Title: Store Associate
Reports To: Charlie Hustle Retail Store Manager
Job Type: Part-time
Job Location: Kansas City, Missouri – The Plaza
Brand Ambassador
Our stores offer a comfortable shopping experience, with staff dedicated to helping customers find the perfect new item to represent their favorite team, hometown, or local restaurant. We want to connect with each customer and offer enthusiasm from entry to exit.
Brand Ambassadors should be fashion forward, with a passion for incorporating tee’s into a trendy look all while performing basic operational and transactional functions.
Responsibilities:
· Greeting and assisting customers.
· Prepping new inventory for sales store, folding and straightening merchandise.
· Brand Ambassadors also handle a variety of operational duties assigned by the Store Management Team (i.e., housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, fold merchandise, warehouse assistance, pop up assistance, and online ordering assistance).
- Sales: Ability to generate sales, add-on and develop relationships with customers
- Be able to speak to the history, core values, and mission of Charlie Hustle
- Assist in sales at both the retail location (located on the Plaza) and the warehouse hub (located in the Crossroads)
- Flexibility: Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the business (part-time maximum 28 hours per week)
- Eager to develop new skills and responsive to feedback
- Assists in the completion of daily projects while keeping the focus on the customer experience
- Contributes to the team by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others
- Provide the best customer service on The Plaza
- Evoke happiness for our customers
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Retail clothing experience preferred
- Creatively show fashion forward personal style with a t-shirts focus
- Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
- Have 20 or more hours available to be scheduled each week
- Must be customer focused, have high energy, and have an outgoing personality
- May be required to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Available to work two or more weekends a month
- An understanding of Kansas City’s culture, history, and sports teams is a plus but not required
Physical Requirements
All positions in our office require interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting. In order to best service our customers, stores and vendors, all employees must be able to communicate face-to-face and on the phone with or without reasonable accommodation. During certain busy times, all employees are expected to help fulfillment. Fulfillment may entail frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
