Working knowledge of general manufacturing/fabrication processes

Manufacture, assemble, install and re-work various aircraft structural components unsupervised

Familiar with the installation of various aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates etc.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications, blueprints and engineering drawings

Maintain shop supplies and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment

Operate complicated shop tools and equipment as trained and assigned

Use of precision measuring devices such as calipers, height, depth, dial, and screw pitch gauges

Perform inventory control using logging, tagging, and organizing procedures

Maintain tool control and accountability

Adhere to company policies and safety programs

Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred

Experience:
- 10+ years of professional experience in the required task area required
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
Physical Requirements:
- Able to assess, install, and modify equipment, and inspect machinery
- Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, grasp and reach with hands and arms, handle and operate hand/power tools and machine controls
- Perform frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements
- Prolonged periods of standing while operating machinery
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate safety gear (e.g., eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, etc.) for the assigned task
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time

Salary:
The projected salary range for this position is $60,000-85,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation, rather actual salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable certifications or degrees held. Offered salary may fall outside of this range.
