Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals, ensuring quality and consistency in food presentation
- Handle food with care, following strict safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Serve meals efficiently and courteously, providing excellent food service experience to residents and staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, adhering to food safety standards at all times
- Follow all food handling procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide within healthcare or food service settings
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Experience with food handling, meal preparation, and serving in restaurant or catering environments
- Excellent knife skills for efficient food prep and portion control
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food industry standards, and culinary practices
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
