Duties
- Perform professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and extensions to meet client preferences
- Apply nail enhancements such as acrylic nails, gel manicures, nail extensions, and perform manicures and pedicures with precision
- Conduct skin treatments including body waxing and hair threading to enhance client appearance
- Follow salon safety protocols by maintaining sanitation standards and disinfection procedures for tools and workspaces
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide expert recommendations, and ensure satisfaction
- Upsell retail products related to nail care, hair styling, skincare, and body treatments to boost sales
- Stay current with industry trends by continuously updating skills in areas like eyelash extensions, hair styling techniques, and laser treatments
Skills
- Deep understanding of color theory for flawless hair coloring results
- Proficiency in nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, and nail extensions
- Knowledge of salon safety protocols combined with strong sanitation and disinfection procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients
- Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on delivering high-quality services in a fast-paced environment
- Strong retail sales skills along with retail math knowledge for upselling products effectively
- Technical expertise in esthetic laser treatments, hair extensions, barbering, and body waxing
- Ability to perform precise hair threading and advanced hair styling techniques
- Familiarity with skin rejuvenation procedures like dermabrasion and laser treatments
- Exceptional communication skills to educate clients about nail care routines and treatment options
