We are a growing precision machining company serving the aerospace and high-performance manufacturing industries. We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer who takes pride in producing high-quality components and enjoys solving complex machining challenges. Manufacturing or process engineering experience is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machining centers.
- Develop efficient machining strategies to improve cycle times and tool life.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
- Optimize tooling, workholding, and machining processes.
- Perform first-article inspections and maintain tight tolerances.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on new product launches and continuous improvement projects.
- Support fixture design, process development, and manufacturing documentation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC machining and programming experience.
- Proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, ESPRIT, or similar).
- Strong understanding of GD&T and precision inspection techniques.
- Experience machining aerospace materials is a plus.
- Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with horizontal machining centers, Fanuc controls, and process optimization is a plus.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- High-efficiency machining (HEM) experience.
- Fixture and tooling design.
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar) is a plus.
- Knowledge of tool life management and probing systems.
