Now Hiring: 3-Year-Old Classroom Teacher
Jonesville Preparatory Preschool is located in the Arbor Greens subdivision in Newberry.
We're looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced teacher to join our team in our 3-year-old classroom!
At Jonesville Preparatory Preschool, we are a play-based, relationship-centered early childhood program where children are free to explore, imagine, and grow in a nurturing and respectful environment. We believe meaningful learning happens through connection, hands-on experienced, and a deep understanding of child development.
Responsibilities
Work with other staff members to form a positive, supportive team atmosphere, to share ideas and be open to the ideas of others, be flexible and willing to compromise
Work independently with little or no supervision
Be motivated and open to learn and grow in an educational environment and be willing to continually increase knowledge
Attend all staff training sessions, meetings and programs sponsored by Jonesville Preparatory Preschool
Be comfortable communicating with students, parents/caregivers, and other team members (both orally and written) and be able to foster positive relations with them
Demonstrate initiative and solve problems
Complete daily cleaning/disinfecting routine and keep a clean and organized classroom AND school.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate.
All candidates must be able to pass a level 2 background screening, able to lift up to 30 pounds, and to have completed the required 45 hours of DCF training.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
