Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Stand Up Forklift Operator to join a local company in Tyler, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas who have openings they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a stand-up forklift to safely load and unload trucks, containers, and warehouse racks.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
- Accurately scan and document merchandise movements using an RF scanner or warehouse management system.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of goods.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.
- Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a stand-up forklift (certification preferred).
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required.
- Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced warehouse environment with quotas and deadlines.
- Physical role requiring frequent movement and repetitive tasks.
