Formed in 1995, Arrow Construction is a full-service underground utilities construction company based in Sacramento, CA and serves northern and central California. Our services include underground utility work, vacuum excavation, asphalt/concrete restoration and traffic control services.
Arrow Construction is currently seeking a Safety Coordinator for our Sacramento office.
Job duties included but were not limited to:

Be responsible for implementing components of the safety program.

Train personnel through materials, equipment and environments with the goal of achieving safety effectiveness throughout the company.

Able to ensure all accidents/incidents are promptly reported and investigated.

Able to report all training programs as appropriate.

Keep the owner and their agents informed on all relevant issues.

Manage and maintain safety and housekeeping procedures.

Support the superintendents in pre-construction notifications and documentation.

Assist with new hires' orientations and Coordinate/conduct Quarterly safety meetings.

Collect and submit all documentation related to personal injury and property accidents.

Maintain all records for vehicles and equipment (insurance, DMV, etc.).
Position Requirements:

2-4 years of safety experience.

A strong understanding of OSHA and safety regulations.

Workers' Compensation claim management experience.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
-
Must have the ability to interface with other Arrow Construction personnel, customers and vendors in potentially confrontational issues with diplomacy and professionalism.
