Resident Services Coordinator
Located in our historic building, in the CIVIC Center/Hayes Valley area - Van Ness Properties is seeking a friendly part-time Resident Services team member to join the property management team. The primary responsibilities of the Resident Services team member will involve responsibilities to anticipate needs of residents and guests, providing exemplary customer service each and every time.
Basic responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Screens visitors and client employees in an efficient manner in order to expedite their admittance to the site or facility and reports incidents or suspicious activity.
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courtesy manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and potential residents by providing a courteous, respectful and pleasant interaction with each resident, employee and visitor.
- Monitors entrances and exits; acts to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry.
- Maintains and updates packages/grocery logs when receiving packages and releasing them to residents.
- Provide administrative support to leasing staff and maintenance.
- Coordinate move in dates and pre-move in inspections with new residents.
- Educate and inform residents of resident rules, policies, procedures, and resident response program.
- Participate in resident events to build community and customer relationships.
- Ensure Amenity Spaces are clean, in working order and available for reservation, including Guest Suites.
- Daily review of front desk shift reports. Reporting shift report log entries that require action including but not limited to: lease violations, missed shift report entries, and vendor missed work shifts to the Resident Services Manager.
Ideal candidates will have:
- 1 year concierge experience or equivalent customer service experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication including ability to make sound judgements without supervision.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws: e.g., OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc. a plus.
- Flexibility in workdays and work schedule
