Austin based custom home builder seeking experienced construction superintendent to join our team. Our business is generally running 5-7 projects simultaneoulsy, ranging from $400K-$2.5mil+. We take on both new construction and large-scale remodeling/addition. This superintendent position will be reporting directly to our project managers, providing critical field support. JOb description will include:
- Daily inspection and supervision of subcontractors to ensure work on our projects is happening in accordance with approved drawings and specifications, while meeting our standards of quality.
-Coordinate delivery of materials and inspect for accuracy and quality
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional presenting jobsite
- Coordinate with COA and 3rd party building inspectors on all required inspections
- Complete variance purchase orders at various local vendors, as needed to keep working moving at the jobs
- Assist PM's in maintaining project documentation in our construction management software BuilderTrend - photos, daily logs, schedule, etc.
Job skills and requirements:
- Minimum 7 years experience as residential construction superintendent; ideally with experience in both new construction and remodeling/renovation projects
- Comprehensive understanding of all phases of construction, from ground breaking to final punch out
-Ability to read and understand architectural and structural construction drawings
- Organizational skills required to generate task lists, schedule the tasks, and manage the list to completion.
- Communication skills to maintain positive relationships with our labor force
- Basic computer skills. Familiarity and experience with BuilderTrend software is a plus, but also willing to train.

There is room to grow in this company - to a full-fledged project manager. This superintendent position is the minimum amount of support we need right now, but welcome applicants who think they have the qualifications for that greater responsibility now. Compensation package would be increased, commensurate with experience.
