Neighborhood Pet Hospital is a progressive, privately owned companion animal hospital dedicated to providing exceptional medicine with compassionate care. We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager who is passionate about leadership, team development, operational excellence, and creating an outstanding client experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinary leader to help shape the future of a growing hospital serving Richmond, Sugar Land, Aliana, Harvest Green, Pecan Grove, Mission Bend, and surrounding communities.
Position Summary
The Veterinary Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hospital while partnering closely with the Medical Director to ensure excellent patient care, exceptional client service, financial success, and a positive workplace culture.
This position leads the administrative and operational functions of the practice while supporting doctors, technicians, assistants, receptionists, and kennel staff.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 2 years of veterinary practice management experience
- Experience managing teams of 10+ employees
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with veterinary practice management software
- Knowledge of scheduling, inventory management, payroll, and client service
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
- High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in related field
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM)
- Experience with eVetPractice, IDEXX, Antech, or similar veterinary software
- Experience with budgeting and financial reporting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Compensation
Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annually
Compensation is based on experience, leadership ability, and veterinary management background.
