As an Assistant Store Manager at Opitz – your areas of responsibilities would include:
LEADERSHIP/TRAINING/CUSTOMER SERVICE:
· Coach & train all new store employees in a professional & positive manner at all times.
· Demonstrate superb customer service to all Opitz customers & employees according to Opitz customer service standards.
· Educate all employees to effectively communicate the store mission, our unique merchandise, pricing, etc.
· Maintain control of the store when acting as the Manager on Duty (MOD)
· Monitor store operations to ensure policies and procedures are followed at all times.
· Complete all opening and closing procedures in a timely manner.
· Train & retain a customer service oriented, staff according to set guidelines
· Communicate a positive working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative working climate, positive employee morale, productivity & exceptional customer service.
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
· Prior retail store management experience.
· Excellent customer service skills
· Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Word and using pre-built Excel spreadsheets.
· Ability to recognize and execute selling opportunities
· Good communication and organizational skills
· Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
· Ability to take initiative to complete tasks and solve problems
· Ability to manage time and prioritize
