Spectrum Healthcare Resources, a premier healthcare services provider, is seeking a dedicated civilian Pharmacy Tech for a potential opportunity at The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Lisbon, OH.

Hours of Performance:
Monday to Friday, 0600-1700 (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities:

Prepare prescription orders.
-
Utilize BEMR to process orders.
-
Verify prescription orders.
-
Answer pharmaceutical questions as needed.

Distribute medications at the pill line.

Working knowledge of Pyxis machine.

Inventory and stocking of pharmacy supplies.

Check medications for expiration dates.
-
Assist and monitor in the accountability of sharps.

Assists Pharmacist in the proper disposal of expired and confiscated medication.

General cleanliness and assist in orderly running of the Pharmacy area.

Maintain a safe, clean and secure work area at all times.

Perform quality assurance protocol weekly maintenance.
Qualifications:

Graduation from a pharmaceutical tech program that qualifies for state licensure/certification.

Three letters of reference
-
Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination, TB Skin test of chest radiography, AHA CPR certification
