Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety standards.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and accurately process sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including dining spaces, kitchen, and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with cash register operations.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
