David Rosen Bakery Supplies is currently hiring full-time CDL Class B and Class A Truck Drivers to join our family-owned business in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Since 1917, we have served as a premier one-stop shop for bakeries and food manufacturers throughout NYC, Long Island, CT, NJ, PA, and NY
Role Responsibilities:
- Safely operate 26 ft refrigerated box trucks and manage daily deliveries to our customers.
- Unload freight at customer locations ( driver + 2 helpers provided on routes).
- Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain an early morning, Monday through Friday schedule (weekends off).
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class B or A license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail, safety protocols, and time management.
- 3+ years of CDL driving experience is preferred.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Commercial Driver's License (CDL) B Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating refrigerated trucks, to ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and experience with load and unload procedures. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient logistics operations while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks with a CDL B license, across localroutes.
- Transport freight such as food ingredients, sugar, flour, butter, eggs, and a wide variety of dry, frozen refrigerated goods, efficiently and securely.
- Unload cargo using appropriate equipment, lift-gate, and delivery helpers.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety compliance and proper maintenance.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status.
- Adhere to scheduled routes and delivery timelines to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred.
- Proven truck driving experience, particularly in commercial driving roles involving freight delivery.
- Familiarity with operating refrigerated trucks.
- Knowledge of load securing techniques and safety procedures for various types of cargo.
- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using hand trucks, pump jacks, electric jack and manual methods.
- Experience with route driving in diverse environments and adherence to schedules.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform vehicle inspections as needed.
