Job Summary
Custom Synthetic Fibers is seeking an experienced, hands-on Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead our Extrusion, Winding, and Raw Material Loading departments.
This is a working supervisor position responsible for leading employees, meeting production goals, maintaining product quality, ensuring a safe work environment, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues throughout the shift.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys coaching employees, solving problems, and keeping production running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all night shift operations within Extrusion, Winding, and Raw Material Loading.
- Lead and support production employees to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
- Monitor production performance and respond quickly to equipment or process issues.
- Coordinate raw material loading and verify correct material usage.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot extrusion and winding process issues to minimize downtime.
- Communicate with Maintenance and Quality departments to resolve production issues.
- Complete production reports and maintain accurate shift documentation.
- Train, coach, and develop production employees.
- Enforce company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping throughout the production areas.
- Conduct shift turnover meetings and communicate important information to incoming supervisors.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
