HiRel Connectors Inc. (HIRELCO) is an industry leader whose expertise is in designing and manufacturing custom and MIL-Spec interconnect products for a variety of industries including Aerospace and Defense is seeking a Test Technician
The Test Technician supports test engineering activities by testing electrical connectors; collecting, analyzing, and distributing data to test engineers. Test Technician will support a variety of department including Hermetic, Self-Locker /Environmental, and Cables.
Responsibilities
- Set up electrical equipment to perform electrical test such as Dielectric Withstanding Voltage, Insulation Resistance, and Contact Resistance.
- Setup environmental chambers to perform test such as thermal shock, Heat Quench, and Vacuum bake
- Set up and perform mechanical test such as Connector mating and unmating torque, contact separation and engagement, and durability Testing.
- Read and interrupt test specifications.
- Accurately document the Test Data
- Support Quality and production Testing
- Report non-conforming material through documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 2 years in manufacturing assembly, High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have good English written and verbal communication skills
- General computer proficiency
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
