Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring that all areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
- Sweep and Mop floors to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Conduct industrial cleaning in high-traffic areas to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Handle custodial duties such as trash removal, recycling, and replenishing supplies.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in industrial cleaning environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals and safety protocols is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
