The Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Imaging is seeking a trained Interventional Radiologist to join our growing radiology department across the Greater Houston area. The successful candidate will provide a broad range of image-guided diagnostic procedures.
Position Key Accountabilities:

Perform a broad range of image-guided minimally invasive procedures.

Evaluate patients in consultation and determine appropriate interventional treatment.

Perform vascular and nonvascular interventions, including biopsies, drainages, vascular access, embolization procedures, and other procedures appropriate to the physician's expertise.

Participate in inpatient and outpatient interventional radiology services.

Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.

Provide pre- and post-procedure patient management.

Participate in departmental quality improvement, education, and peer-review activities.

Participate in call coverage as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.

Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology or equivalent qualifications.

Board certification or board eligibility in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology.

Texas Medical License or Faculty Temporary License.

Strong clinical, procedural, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience with a broad range of vascular and nonvascular interventions.
