Exact Staff is hiring for our client! We are seeking a motivated and organized Warehouse Staffing Coordinator to support a warehouse operation in the Houston area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys recruiting, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
The Staffing Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for recruiting and workforce management for a warehouse client, helping ensure a reliable and engaged workforce. This position offers a consistent 30-hour workweek, with the opportunity to transition into a 40-hour full-time schedule as business needs grow.
This position is ideal for individuals with experience staffing warehouse, logistics, or industrial clients.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Recruit qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, and community outreach
- Conduct candidate screenings and interviews
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation
- Manage employee rosters and scheduling
- Process and maintain accurate employee timekeeping records
- Communicate regularly with employees regarding attendance, scheduling, and assignments
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
- Partner with the client to meet changing staffing needs and priorities
- Travel to the client warehouse 2–3 times per week (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Provide exceptional customer service to both employees and the client
Qualifications:
- Previous recruiting or staffing experience preferred, ideally supporting warehouse, logistics, or industrial clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel locally
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Flexible schedule to accommodate changing client needs when necessary
Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Pay Rate: $22.00–$23.00 per hour
- Schedule: Part-Time (30 hours per week), Monday–Friday
- Opportunity to transition to a 40-hour full-time schedule based on business needs
- Some schedule flexibility required to support client priorities
- Location: Houston, TX 77064 (Travel to client warehouse 2–3 times per week; mileage reimbursement provided)
