Job Description
Physical Therapist - Home Health Care
Schedule: 40 hours per week, day shift
On-Call Requirements: Minimum of one weekend per month, plus one summer holiday and one winter holiday
Eligible for full-time benefits. $10,000 sign on bonus
The position will be in the Territory of Macomb County The cities will include but are not limited to:
Romeo, Bruce Township, Washington, Utica, Shelby, Sterling Heights, Armada, Ray, Macomb, Richmond, New Haven/Lenox, New Baltimore, Chesterfield, Columbus, Casco, Fair Haven, Ira
**Responsibilities:**
Get ready to make a real difference in people's lives! As a Physical Therapist in our Home Health Care team, you'll bring energy and expertise to every client interaction. Here's what you'll be doing:

Partner with our therapy supervisor to design and deliver personalized physical therapy treatment programs that get results

Get creative with therapeutic techniques—from therapeutic heat and aquatic therapy to targeted exercises—all tailored to help clients conquer pain and reclaim their mobility

Work one-on-one with rehabilitative clients in their homes, providing compassionate care and motivating them toward their recovery goals

Implement evidence-based treatment plans that restore physical function and improve quality of life

Track progress, celebrate wins with your clients, and adjust treatment strategies to keep momentum going

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless, coordinated care

Qualifications
EDUCATION:
A specific level of technical knowledge and the applications of various treatment interventions in order to relieve pain and/or restore a physiological function.

This level of knowledge is generally obtained through the completion of an accredited bachelor's level program in Physical Therapy.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

Current State of Michigan Licensure in order to practice as a registered physical therapist.
QUALIFICATIONS:

The ability to lift and position clients and to perform treatment modalities.

A high level of interpersonal skill is required to effectively interface with clients and physicians.

Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Must have reliable transportation and a telephone.
