Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Manager role based at Threading & Spa by Harman in San Antonio, TX. The Assistant Manager will support day-to-day spa operations, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards, and ensuring a smooth client flow throughout the day. Responsibilities include greeting and checking in clients, managing appointments and walk-ins, handling phone and in-person inquiries, and processing payments. The role will assist in supervising staff schedules, monitoring service quality, and supporting training for new team members. The Assistant Manager will also help manage inventory, place supply orders as needed, support basic marketing activities (such as promotions and social media coordination), and address client concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Experience in customer-facing roles, with strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive client relationships.
- Basic leadership or supervisory experience, including supporting team coordination, time management, and problem-solving in a service environment.
- Comfort using appointment scheduling systems, point-of-sale (POS) software, and basic computer applications (email, spreadsheets, and documents).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse client base and team.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage schedules, inventory, and daily operational tasks accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light cleaning or setup tasks to maintain spa standards.
- Previous experience in a spa, salon, or beauty/wellness environment a plus but not required.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily spa and salon operations
