We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team. Duties

- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure consistency across environments.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems to document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance documentation.
- Provide training and resources to parents and caregivers to reinforce communication strategies at home.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care for students with complex needs.
- Adapt therapy approaches for telehealth delivery when necessary, ensuring continuity of services.
- Stay informed about current best practices in pediatrics, speech therapy, language development, and early intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care activities, progress reports, and compliance documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or equivalent credential.
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school settings or early intervention programs.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to communication disorders.
- Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop effective treatment plans.
- Experience working with children with disabilities, speech impairments, or developmental delays.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms for delivering remote therapy sessions.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging families effectively.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while managing multiple caseloads.
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for documentation purposes.
