Brandsymbol is seeking a Creative Project Manager to drive the planning, coordination, presentation, and execution of client naming and branding projects across our creative production team. This role sits at the center of creative delivery, working closely with Production and cross-functional partners, including Account Executives, Market Research, Regulatory, Trademark, Graphic Design, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
This is a hybrid role based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work in our SouthPark office Monday through Wednesday and remotely Thursday and Friday.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, polished, proactive, and comfortable in both internal and highly client-facing settings. They should be confident speaking in meetings, presenting work, guiding client conversations, and communicating clearly with internal teams and external stakeholders.
This person will help guide exciting naming and branding projects from kickoff through final presentation. Brandsymbol is a global branding agency with a strong focus on pharmaceutical, healthcare, and life sciences naming, along with select projects in business and consumer brands (e.g., technology, automotive, hospitality), and broader brand identity work.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to creative work, connecting teams, and helping strong ideas move efficiently from concept to client-ready execution. The Creative Project Manager will help make deadlines visible, clarify handoffs, align contributors, track risks, support quality control, and ensure clients receive a professional, thoughtful, and strategically grounded experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage active client naming and branding projects from kickoff through final presentation.
- Serve as a client-facing project lead for assigned engagements, helping guide clients through timelines, deliverables, feedback, decision points, and next steps.
- Facilitate the presentation of names, design work, creative rationale, strategy, timelines, and recommendations to client teams.
- Facilitate project workflows, including strategy workshop preparation, naming briefs, name generation coordination, name candidate organization, presentation deck creation, client feedback rounds, and final recommendation support.
- Partner cross-functionally with Account Executives, Market Research, Regulatory, Trademark, and Design to align client expectations, project scope, commercial priorities, research plans, naming risk considerations, design concepts, presentation materials, timelines, revisions, and client-ready deliverables.
- Coordinate with Account Executives to understand client relationship context, scope, expectations, commercial priorities, and communication needs.
- Coordinate with Market Research on testing plans, research timelines, findings, and client-ready deliverables.
- Coordinate with Regulatory and Trademark partners on naming risk considerations, screening inputs, submission considerations, and client-facing implications.
- Coordinate with Graphic Design on design concepts, presentation materials, revisions, version control, creative feedback, and presentation readiness.
- Help translate internal creative, research, regulatory, trademark, and design input into clear client-facing narratives that explain recommendations and support confident decision-making.
- Maintain accurate project information, timelines, milestones, risks, next steps, and status updates in MOSAIQ, Brandsymbol's proprietary AI-enabled project and workflow platform.
- Become a strong MOSAIQ user and help ensure project data creates reliable visibility for Production leadership and the broader leadership team.
- Track deadlines, deliverables, dependencies, open questions, risks, blockers, and next steps.
- Support internal and client-facing project meetings, meeting summaries, follow-ups, and communication.
- Help identify and escalate project delays, unclear ownership, missing inputs, quality-control risks, or client-readiness concerns.
- Support quality control by ensuring client-facing materials are complete, accurate, strategically aligned, and reviewed by the appropriate subject-matter experts before presentation.
- Help improve production workflows, templates, checklists, creative review processes, handoffs, and repeatable project systems.
- Use AI tools responsibly to improve meeting summaries, client follow-ups, presentation preparation, task tracking, project risk identification, quality-control checklists, and workflow documentation.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in project management, account management, creative production, branding, marketing, client service, or a related agency/client-facing role.
- Experience in an advertising agency, branding agency, creative agency, marketing agency, healthcare communications agency, pharmaceutical/life sciences organization, or similar client-service environment strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client projects, timelines, deliverables, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Comfortable participating in, supporting, or leading client meetings and presenting work to external stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain creative and strategic work clearly and professionally.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, organization, and accountability.
- Experience working cross-functionally with different departments, personalities, and subject-matter experts.
- Familiarity with project management, workflow, CRM, or collaboration systems.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, client-service environment.
- Curious and practical about using AI tools to improve quality, efficiency, organization, and project visibility.
- Branding, naming, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, regulatory, market research, trademark, or design coordination experience preferred.

As a Creative Project Manager at Brandsymbol, you'll work closely with a collaborative, close-knit agency team while supporting a diverse range of naming and branding projects. Pay: $70,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
