Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up breakfast stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and presented attractively
- Serve guests in person with friendly, attentive customer service, addressing their needs promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, counters, and food stations
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays
- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks in accordance with food safety management protocols
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems while providing excellent service to all guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred; fine dining or restaurant experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety sanitizing procedures
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace and operating kitchen equipment safely
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and effective communication abilities
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory levels
- Experience with catering, banquet service, or dietary aide roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with wine knowledge or barista experience can enhance guest interactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
