We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team.

Title: Dietary Aide, Full-time
Responsibilities of the job include:
Assist in the preparation, service, and storage of food, cleans, and maintains sanitary conditions in all Dietary areas, assist in the accurate preparation and service of foods. May assist in catering. Responsible to detect, observe and report compliance variances through the chain of command, the Compliance Officer. Performs any other duties as required or assigned.
- Assists with preparation and delivery of the patient trays. Checks patient diet cards during service to ensure patients receive correct diets and special requests.
- Maintains assigned department areas in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
- Prepares baked goods and salad bar every day. Checks labels, dates, rotates salad bar items and ensures food is in clean pans.
- Contributes to the productivity and cost effectiveness of the department.
- Maintains safety and sanitation standards of department to ensure quality food.
- Provides clerical and cashier support service.
- Answers phone in a clear, polite, and courteous manner.
- Completes all assigned cleaning by the end of each work shift.
- Assists others as directed.
- Performs any other duties as required or assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous food service experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
- Must show courtesy, tact, and confidentiality.
- Possess reasonable speed in performing duties.
