Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Greet and engage customers to understand their needs and preferences
Provide product knowledge and recommend items that best meet customer needs
Accurately process transactions, including cash, checks, and credit/debit cards
Address customer questions and resolve pricing discrepancies
Process returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies
Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide product information
Prepare purchased items by bagging, boxing, or wrapping as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned to support smooth store operations
Qualifications
Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
Ability to anticipate and respond effectively to customer needs
Knowledge of retail merchandise or willingness to learn
Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and standard retail equipment
Basic math skills for handling transactions
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Willingness to complete on-the-job training
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods and operate a cash register
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule
Ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the workday
