Ewell Equipment Company is seeking a skilled and reliable Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong welding knowledge and a willingness to learn and grow within the heavy equipment industry. This position offers hands-on training with specialized equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machine tools to fabricate, modify, and repair parts and equipment • Perform welding tasks as required (mandatory skill) • Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on heavy equipment • Work with drive shafts (experience preferred but not required) • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications
- Required: Welding knowledge and experience • Preferred: Familiarity with drive shafts (training provided if needed) • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Dependable with a strong work ethic
