American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level IV NICU position at a pediatric facility in Ohio, requiring at least 2 years of Level III/IV NICU experience and an OH or compact RN license.

NICU assignment at a large pediatric hospital setting
-
Specialized BPD (bronchopulmonary dysplasia) NICU with an average patient length of stay of 2–3 years
-
Frequent trach care and heavy parent/family involvement expected

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00

Floating required to PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, MS, and rarely ED
-
Floating to other campuses also required, including Riverside and St. Ann's locations
-
Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications: BLS and NRP

Minimum 1 year of Level IV NICU experience required

Minimum 2 years of combined Level III/IV NICU experience required

2 manager/supervisor references required for consideration (charge nurse references not accepted)

Must be willing and able to float to multiple units and campuses as needed

This position follows a two-part interview process: an initial screening with the Float Pool Leader within 24–48 hours, followed by a second review or interview by the NICU unit manager

Candidates who have worked permanently at this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years to be eligible
