Duties
- Curate and mix music playlists that suit different event themes and audience preferences using advanced audio mixing equipment
- Engage with audiences through lively public speaking, announcements, and interactive performances to enhance the event atmosphere
- Operate sound systems, microphones, and lighting equipment with technical proficiency to ensure high-quality audio and visual experiences
- Coordinate with event organizers, venue staff, and performers to ensure seamless event flow and timely setup
- Demonstrate excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, managing crowd control, and ensuring a safe environment
- Incorporate dance routines or movement to energize the crowd when appropriate, creating an engaging entertainment experience
- Handle heavy lifting of equipment such as speakers, turntables, mixers, and lighting gear safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- Proven experience in DJing with a strong portfolio of live performances or events
- Skilled in audio mixing, sound engineering, and technical operation of DJ equipment
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to speak confidently in front of diverse audiences
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, venue staff, and event attendees
- Knowledge of marketing strategies to promote events and grow your DJ brand
- Ability to perform physical tasks including dancing and heavy lifting of equipment as needed
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
