Our practice focuses on sophisticated commercial transactions involving technology, SaaS, AI, software licensing, data privacy, cloud services, and other complex business agreements.
We are seeking an experienced attorney to join us as an independent contractor/consultant. This is a flexible, fully remote opportunity for an attorney who enjoys practicing at a high level without the demands of traditional Big Law.
What You'll Do
You will draft, review, negotiate, and advise clients on a broad range of technology and commercial agreements, including:
- SaaS and software license agreements
- Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
- Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Professional services agreements
- Cloud services agreements
- AI-related agreements and commercial AI issues
- Data processing agreements
- Vendor and procurement contracts
- Strategic commercial partnerships
- NDAs and other commercial contracts
You will work directly with sophisticated clients and be expected to exercise strong independent judgment with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have:
- 8+ years of experience practicing commercial transactions law
- Significant experience negotiating technology and commercial agreements
- Experience advising technology companies or technology procurement teams
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong business judgment and client communication skills
- Ability to manage matters independently
Strong preference will be given to attorneys with one or more of the following:
- Experience at an Am Law or other nationally recognized law firm
- Significant in-house legal experience
- Fortune 500 legal department experience
- Meaningful experience with AI-related legal issues and commercial contracting

Pay: Up to $200.00 per hour
