Duties
- Supervise and train café staff to ensure high standards of service and food preparation.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper food handling procedures.
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and daily sales reconciliation.
- Create staff schedules that optimize labor costs while meeting customer demand.
- Monitor café performance and implement strategies for improvement.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
- Engage with customers to enhance their experience and address any concerns or feedback.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Experience with food preparation techniques and café operations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately.
