Twins Garage Doors is growing, and we are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person to join our team as a Garage Door Service Technician & Installer.
Garage door experience is helpful, but it is not required. We provide paid, hands-on training, a company vehicle, and the tools you need to succeed.
This is a customer-facing position for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and helping homeowners.
Compensation
- Expected earnings of approximately $4,000–$8,000 per month
- Commission-based compensation after training
- Minimum weekly pay provided

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair residential garage doors and openers
- Install garage doors, openers, springs, cables, rollers, and related components
- Inspect garage door systems for safety and performance concerns
- Clearly explain repair and replacement options to homeowners
- Help customers make informed decisions without using high-pressure sales tactics
- Complete job notes, photographs, invoices, and required documentation
- Collect payment and properly close out completed jobs
- Maintain your assigned company vehicle, tools, and inventory
- Follow company procedures and applicable safety requirements
- Represent Twins Garage Doors professionally in customers’ homes
Schedule
- Full-time, generally 40 or more hours per week
- Typical working hours are approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Ending times may vary depending on the final scheduled job
- Generally one Saturday per month, with a weekday off when scheduled
- Additional hours may occasionally be available or required
What We’re Looking For
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable explaining options and making recommendations to customers
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to remain eligible to drive a company vehicle
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Able to safely use ladders and lift or maneuver garage door components
- Able to work in garages and outdoor conditions with varying temperatures
- Able to follow company processes and complete required documentation
- Able to work independently after completing training
Prior experience in garage doors, construction, installation, automotive work, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, maintenance, or another skilled trade is helpful but not required.
