Job Summary
Under the direction of the VP of Sales, the ALPMA Sales Manager will provide the best possible customer satisfaction to ALPMA customers by processing orders, addressing and resolving customer inquiries and problems, preparing equipment quotes, tracking job statuses, and resolving customer issues through need-based selling tactics. Travel will consist of customer site visits, off-site meetings, conference attendance, training, and the like. Travel will consist of 40-60% of working time, depending on territory assignments, sales volume, conference schedules, etc.
Duties
- Generate new leads and sales opportunities
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding the status of open quotes and jobs to customers, relaying pertinent information to both the customer and in-house personnel to ensure timely delivery of equipment. Promptly create and deliver quotes to customers, based upon the applicable workflows.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, problems, and complaints regarding products, services, billing, applications, etc
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention
- Act as liaison between ALPMA and our customer base by having smart business discussions on current “state of the business,” sales opportunities presented by Parts Sales, Service Reps, and other Ivarson personnel, and identify potential sales opportunities through the Sales Pipeline.
Experience
- Strong background in technical sales, account management, and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions clearly and persuasively
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and develop actionable insights
- Experience in marketing collaboration and customer service excellence is preferred
