MULTI-CRAFT EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Responsibilities:
Operate various equipment, including cranes, forklifts, steel saws, press brakes, plasma laser cutters, sandblasters, and robotic welding systems.
Conduct routine inspections before operating equipment to identify maintenance or repair needs.
Monitor gauges and other indicators to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Perform or request necessary repairs and adjustments to equipment.
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and written or verbal instructions to meet job specifications.
Set robotic weld and weave schedules, including TAST (Through Arc Seam Tracking) in the PLC or pendant.
Follow all safety procedures, GMPs, and operational protocols at all times.
Report any incidents (injury, illness, near miss), safety hazards, equipment failures, or maintenance issues to Production Leadership.
Properly wear, maintain, store, and inspect PPE as required.
Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport production materials such as consumables, gas, and empty scrap bins.
Actively participate in EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) training and investigations.
Take responsibility for personal and team safety while ensuring proper equipment use.
Perform other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by Production Leadership.

Qualifications:
Understanding of practices involved in the use of various types of equipment.
Understanding of safety rules and ability to safely operate machinery.
Frequent exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and airborne particles.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
