EXPERIENCED CNA Required — Immediate hire with an expedited recruitment process for prompt onboarding. Touched by Angels Home Healthcare II, Inc. is seeking a compassionate CNA Caregiver to provide in-home support to an 87 Year old lady, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being. As a CNA, you will assist with activities of daily living, ensure safety, and communicate closely with family and care management. This CNA opportunity is open for immediate placement.
Duties and Responsibilities
- As a CNA, provide assistance to an 87 year old lady with dressing, meal preparation, morning routines preparing for the PACE van transportation.
- Prepare and set up meals; as a CNA, support safe feeding routines and hydration reminders.
- Support evening routines, including meal service, shower or bed bath, and preparation for bedtime.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe, tidy environment as a CNA.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety; the CNA uses proper body mechanics and transfer techniques.
- Provide medication reminders per care plan; the CNA documents adherence and notes variances.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social events; the CNA ensures timely arrivals and safe return.
- Observe and report changes in condition to the Care Manager or Nurse promptly; the CNA documents updates accurately.
- Collaborate with family and care team to align on goals of care; the CNA maintains professional communication.
Qualifications and Experience
- CNA experience required; must be an experienced CNA comfortable with ADLs, transfers, and in-home support.
- Must adhere to Touched by Angels II policies for attendance, timekeeping, conduct, and documentation as a CNA.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with staff, clients, and family members; the CNA demonstrates empathy and professionalism.
- Demonstrated compassion and commitment to helping clients maintain independence; prior CNA home care experience preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and organized; the CNA can follow a care plan and adapt to client needs.
- Compliance with all onboarding requirements and background standards as a CNA per agency policy.
Salary and Benefits
- Hours of Care: Fill-In
- 6:30AM to 8:30AM Monday through Friday (5 days)
- 4:00PM to 6:30PM Monday through Friday (5 days).
- 5 hours on Saturday, to be determined
- Employment Type: Part-time CNA.
- Pay and Benefits: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience, matching 401(k)
