At our practice, you'll play a key role in creating a smooth, comfortable experience for our patients. We value individuals with strong customer service skills, a friendly attitude, and the ability to make patients feel at ease.
What you’ll do:
- Warmly welcome patients and prepare them for treatment or checkups.
- Ensure patients are comfortable and well-cared-for throughout their visit.
- Set up and organize instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures.
- Sterilize instruments following the highest standards.
- Assist the dentist using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Perform lab tasks as needed.
- Provide clear post-operative and oral hygiene instructions to patients.
- Keep the dental room clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Help with scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Assist with payment processes.
What we’re looking for:
- A passion for helping people and making a positive impact.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Willingness to learn and follow health and safety regulations.
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform regulated tasks like coronal polishing is an asset.
- Basic computer skills.
- High school diploma required; dental assistant school graduates and additional certifications (such as EFDA) are preferred.
