Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Safety Management professional to lead safety initiatives across construction sites. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce construction site safety policies aligned with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, and other industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses to identify potential issues proactively.
- Lead safety training sessions, including OSHA compliance, electrical safety procedures, first aid and CPR certification, and construction workplace safety regulations.
- Manage incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Oversee occupational health protocols related to workers' compensation claims and workers' health monitoring programs.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution phases.
- Ensure compliance management through documentation, audits, and adherence to EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of construction management practices.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, NFPA standards, NEC codes, and construction regulatory compliance requirements.
- Expertise in risk management strategies tailored for construction environments.
- Familiarity with occupational health principles and workers' compensation procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and construction management software for recordkeeping and reporting purposes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train teams effectively on safety protocols.
- Construction site experience combined with comprehensive knowledge of electrical safety procedures and construction workplace safety regulations.
- Certifications such as OSHA 30-hour or 40-hour training, First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
