Responsibilities
- Travel to clients’ locations to deliver customized massage therapy sessions, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing experience.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify specific needs, pain points, and treatment goals.
- Perform various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate muscle tension and pain.
- Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and injury prevention strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of each session, including patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to medical terminology standards while working in diverse environments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in patient service with strong skills in patient assessment and treatment planning.
- Certification in massage therapy with specialization in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management.
- Prior experience working in med spas or occupational health settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple appointments across different locations.
