Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems across various properties, ensuring optimal indoor air quality and climate control. Your expertise will help keep buildings comfortable, energy-efficient, and compliant with safety standards. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Conduct refrigeration repairs as needed to support HVAC system functionality.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and welding equipment for component repairs or modifications.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems, including appliance repair and equipment replacement when necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems or related mechanical fields.
- Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or system upgrades.
- Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and HVAC design principles.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing, welding, boiler operation, and general equipment repair.
- Field service experience working directly on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems,, or other mechanical equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles preferred.
