Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly displayed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures at all times
- Serve guests with a friendly attitude, offering assistance with food selections and answering questions about menu items
- Restock supplies promptly to ensure smooth service throughout the breakfast period
- Follow food handling protocols diligently, including proper manual handling techniques and weight handling in the workplace
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting culinary staff in creating diverse breakfast offerings
- Ensure compliance with food safety management standards and dietary requirements, including catering to special dietary needs or allergies
Skills
- Previous experience in dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling practices
- Experience with food preparation, serving, and catering operations
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace safely and efficiently
- Hospitality background is advantageous for engaging with guests effectively
- Understanding of dietary accommodations and food safety management protocols
- Previous banquet or catering experience enhances your ability to adapt quickly in busy settings
