Kitchen Staff/Cook

Job Details

Job Functions:

· Cook all items according to the MeetFresh recipe.

· Maintain and clean all surfaces around the kitchen area.

· Clean all equipment, pots, and pans after each use.

· Help move delivered goods in and restock shelves and walk-in refrigerator and freezer.

· Stock all items according to our company standards.

· Work in a fast, clean, and safe manner.

· Have all items well stocked before going on lunch break.

· Clean all surfaces at cooking area, stoves, refrigerator, under-counter freezer, and floor nightly.

· Deep clean refrigerator and under-counter freezer weekly.

· Organize shelves continually throughout the day and remove empty boxes to the dumpster.

· Empty floor sink basket daily and clean floor sink weekly.

· Label all food items according to TCPH.

· Clean hood filters once a month.

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Prior experience in a similar position

· Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods

· Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

· Knowledge of food safety procedures

· Ability to work in a team

· Excellent communication, organization, time management, and multitasking skills

· Excellent physical condition and stamina

· Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

· Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
